Lot 566. Shaquille O’Neal Stated First Edition of “Shaq Attaq!” Published in 1993, this book provides Shaq’s first-person account of his inaugural season in the NBA. During that season, he became the first rookie to be voted onto the All-Star team since Michael Jordon, and he was named Rookie of the Year. In the book, he describes what it’s like to play in the NBA, what his fears and concerns are, what makes him happy, and what makes him angry. He offers his views concerning various players. He also discusses his upbringing and the importance of the work ethic he developed. O’Neal’s facsimile signature is on the third blank page at the front of the hardcover book, which is nm in an ex dust jacket. O’Neal is a member of both the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the College Basketball Hall of Fame. Minimum Bid $10.
