Milt Morin’s Cleveland Browns Team-Issued Practice Jersey Plus a Signed Card.
Lot 393. Milt Morin’s Cleveland Browns Team-Issued Practice Jersey Plus a Signed Card. The Browns 1966 first-round draft selection, Morin was a two-time Pro Bowler in 10 seasons as a tight end in Cleveland. His 271 receptions and 4,208 yards are second all-time for a Browns’ tight end, second only to Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome. The front of the white jersey has an illustration of a football with “Cleveland Browns” in bold black print above. Each sleeve and the back of the jersey have Morin’s number “89.” The jersey shows multiple stains, and a portion of the collar is separated from the rest of the practice jersey. Accompanying the jersey is a 1975 Topps football card autographed by Morin. The card is nm, and the signature in dark blue sharpie is mint 9 to gem mint 10. The jersey was given to our consignor by Morin; they were friends. Morin passed away in 2010, one week before his scheduled induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. He was a tight end and place kicker who also played defense at the University of Massachusetts. He was the university’s first player selected in the first round of the NFL draft. Winning Bid $83.
