Rob Mackowiak 2005 Game-Used Cracked Bat.

Lot 302. Rob Mackowiak 2005 Game-Used Cracked Bat. In 2005, Mackowiak played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, primarily as an utilityman. This 34” Marucci “Handcrafted for-Rob Mackowiak-MAK3 Pro Model” black bat is cracked and shows plenty of combat with lots of pine tar! Mackowiak’s MLB career spanned 2001-08 with the Pirates, White Sox, Padres and Nationals. His most memorable day in baseball was May 28, 2004. Early that day, his son was born. At the ballpark later, in the first game of a doubleheader against the Cubs, he delivered a walkoff grand slam to give Pittsburgh a 9-5 victory. In the second, he hit a game-tying two-run home run in the 9th. The Pirates won in the 10th, 5-4. Minimum Bid $50.
