The teams were tied at 3-3 after nine innings. In the top of the 14th, Red Schoendienst homered against Ted Gray to put the National League ahead. In the bottom of the inning, Joe DiMaggio grounded into a game-ending double play. Black and white player photos are shown inside the 38-page program, which has a red, white and blue cover. Among the star are Jackie Robinson, Berra, Campanella, DiMaggio, Doby, Feller, Kiner, Musial, Rizzuto, Snider and Ted Williams. The names of many players have been circled in pencil.
