In its 1999 list of “Football’s 100 Greatest Players” of the 20th century, “The Sporting News” ranked White 22nd. His signature is mint 9 to gem mint 10 on a Wilson Official NFL Paul Tagliabue “On Field Authentic NFL Game Ball.” A unanimous All-American at Tennessee in 1983, the Hall of Fame defensive lineman began his pro career with the Memphis Showboats of the USFL in 1984, starred for the NFL Eagles 1985-92, the Packers 1993-98 and concluded his NFL career in 2000 with the Carolina Panthers after missing the 1999 season. White was only 43 when he died in 2004. Other Accomplishments: College Hall of Fame 2002, Pro HoF 2006.
