Thirty-two publications, including a 1981 and 1984 World Series programs 1981 and 1982 All-Star Game programs (one of each), and two 1985 W.S. scorecards. The programs are nm or better, and the scorecards, ex-m to nm. The Dodgers and the Tigers were the World Series champions. The 1981 program commemorates the 25th anniversary of Don Larsen’s perfect game with a four-page article. Each All-Star program devotes three pages with 90 color mini-cards featuring A.L. and N.L. “All Star Nominees.” Four magazines are from “Sports Illustrated”: May 9, 1988, Pete Rose cover, vg with mailing label; May 27, 1991, Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris, vg+, mailing label removed; Aug. 1992 “SI for Kids,” Kirby Puckett cover, nm, and June 29, 1998, Sammy Sosa cover, nm. Two calendars are in this group. “The 1988 Baseball Card Engagement Book” by Michael Gershman has Walter Johnson on the cover, a perforated panel of four All-Time All-Stars including Babe Ruth inside and articles on numerous players, ranging from Luis Aparicio to Smoky Joe Wood. Ex-m. A 1989 calendar from Krause Publications presents photos of rookie cards, including Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle. Ex-m. The books are “The Official Encyclopedia of Baseball, Revised Edition,” 1956, by Hy Turkin and S. C. Thompson, 584-page hardback, vg-ex, owner’s name on a label inside the front cover, no dust jacket, and the “Official 1985 Price Guide to Baseball Cards,” 380-page softcover, ex.
