4 Topps Wax Boxes, 1986-88, 1990 and 6 1988T Big Baseball Boxes - All with Unopened Packs.

Lot 220. 4 Topps Wax Boxes, 1986-88, 1990 and 6 1988T Big Baseball Boxes - All with Unopened Packs. Each of the 10 boxes holds unopened packs. The 1986 issue has numerous rookie and star cards. Rookies of Barry Larkin and Rafael Palmeiro and the first regular-set Barry Bonds card from Topps are possibilities among the 1987 cards. The 1988 box has possible rookies of Roberto Alomar and Tom Glavine, and 1990, Frank Thomas and Sammy Sosa. Accompanying these issues are six boxes of 1988 Topps Big Baseball, two boxes for each of three series. Each Big Baseball set is made up of 264 cards (88 cards per series). Each group of three boxes has 756 cards, which means that the six boxes should yield least several sets. The packs in these 10 boxes don’t seem to have been removed from the boxes. Because we did not see them come out of an unopened case, however, and we are selling them as is. Winning Bid $45.
