Lot 218. “The Dodger Undoers” Baseball’s Greatest Feats Poster Signed by Larsen, Thomson and Vander Meer. All three baseball stars placed mint 9 to gem mint 10 signatures on the color illustrations of this 11” x 14” color poster by Ken Haag. Don Larsen (died. 2020) pitched the only World Series perfect game against Brooklyn on Oct. 1, 1956. On Oct. 3, 1951 at the Polo Grounds, Bobby Thomson (d. 2010) ended the Dodgers’ hopes of an N.L. pennant with his “Shot Heard Round the World.” And Johnny Vander Meer (d. 1997) hurled the second of his consecutive no-hitters on June 15, 1938 in the first night game at Ebbets Field.
