Lot 97. 1909 T206 Piedmont Card of Harry Pattee SGC-Graded 50 VG-EX 4. One of few horizontal cards in the set, this example is decently centered and has ex corners, strong, bright colors, and a small, light surface crease in the lower left. The 150-Subjects back is exceptionally clean and well centered.

Lot 98. 3 Graded 1909-11 T206 Hall of Famers – Both Griffith Cards Plus McGinnity. SGC assigned a grade of 30 GOOD 2 to both the Clark Griffith batting pose and the lone Joe “Iron Man” McGinnity card in the set. Both have Sweet Caporal backs. PSA judged the Griffith portrait, which has a Piedmont 150 back, to be VG 3.

Lot 100. 5 1909-11 T206s, All Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Three of the cards are Pittsburgh Pirates: Abstein, Leifield (pitching) and Maddox. The two other cards are of Pakert of Cincinnati and Unglaub, who played for Washington. All have Piedmont backs.

Lot 106. 1910 T206 Piedmont Iron Man McGinnity 40 VG 3 by SGC. McGinnity posted a 246-142 record with a 2.66 ERA in the majors and then won at least 200 more games after being retired to the minors. At the age of 54, he pitched 268 innings and won 15 games in a Class D league. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1946. The card shows corner wear, has a tiny crease in the lower left corner, a very small, light stain in the upper left and has a clean back.
