Lot 615.  Tug McGraw Autograph and Smiley Face on the Sweet Spot of a Wilson Baseball. One of the best closers ever, McGraw holds the record for the most lifetime saves in the League Championship Series. He was also a character. Occasionally, he would practice right handed, to the confusion or delight of spectators. It’s no surprise then that he added a smiley face below the “w” in his signature, which grades ex-m 6 to nm 7. The father of country music star Tim McGraw, he passed away in 2004. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
Winning Bid $25.

Lot 616.  Johnny Mize Autograph on the Sweet Spot of an ONL William D. White Baseball. Mize was late to get his due, finally being inducted into the HoF in 1981. Winning Bid $50.

Lot 617.  Johnny Mize Single-Signed OAL Brown Baseball. In his Hall of Fame career, Mize hit three home runs in a game a record six times. He belted 43 home runs for the Cardinals in 1940. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
Winning Bid $30.
