Lot 703. 1978 Grand Slam Card Signed by HoF Outfielder James “Cool Papa” Bell. Ex-m card with a sharpie 10 signature accompanied by a copy of the 8” x 10” b&w photo used for the card. An excellent leadoff hitter with incredible speed and superb in the outfield, Bell was one of the greatest Negro League players. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1974. He died in 1991. Lot 706. 8” x 10” Color Photo Autographed by New York Mets Slugger Carlos Delgado as the first baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays. At age 33 at the end of the 2005 season, Delgado had belted 369 home runs, driven in 1173 and was a .284 lifetime hitter. Over the past eight seasons, he has averaged 38 home runs and 119 RBIs.
