Lot 314. Joe Montana San Francisco 49ers Replica Jersey Framed to 36” x 37”. The Montana jersey is mint, framed with black metal and displayed beneath a Plexiglas front. On “The Sporting News” list of Football’s 100 Greatest Players, Montana ranked third, behind only Jim Brown and Jerry Rice. He led San Francisco to four Super Bowl Championships and was the MVP in three of the title games. He was the NFL MVP twice, the Offensive Player of the Year in 1986, a first-team All-Pro three times and a Pro Bowl selection eight times. He led the league in passing touchdowns twice and passer rating twice and in completion percentage five times. Named to the NFL 75th and 100th anniversary All-Time Teams, he was also the “Sports Illustrated” Sportsman of the Year in 1990 and the AP Athlete of the Year in 1989 and 1990. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000. Minimum Bid $40.
