King wrote “Billie Jean” with Kim Chapin, 1974 stated first edition, vg+ to ex book with fading along the edges of the cover. The dust jacket is vg-ex. “Janet Guthrie: A Life at Full Throttle,” 2005 apparent first edition, is ex-m to nm with a small crease in the lower right corner of the front cover. The dust jacket is ex-m+ to nm. King wrote the four-page Introduction to Guthrie’s book. One of the best woman tennis players of all time, King won 39 Grand Slam titles - 12 in singles, 16 in women's doubles, and 11 in mixed doubles. In 1987, she was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. In 1972, she and John Wooden shared the “Sports Illustrated” Sportsman of the Year award, and in 1975, she was one of “Time” magazine’s Persons of the Year.
