Lot 253. Roger Staubach Silver Sharpie Autograph on a Mint Wilson Official NFL Football. Large mint 9 to gem mint 10 signature by the 1963 Heisman Trophy recipient and Hall of Fame quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. He added “HOF 85” below his autograph on the Wilson Official NFL Paul Tagliabue “On Field Authentic NFL Game Ball.” Accomplishments: College Hall of Fame 1981, Pro HoF 1985. Two-time Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl VI MVP, 1978 NFL Man of the Year, six-time Pro Bowl selection, 1973 NFL passing touchdowns leader, four-time passing rating leader, 1971 Bert Bell Award (as NFL Player of the Year), 1980 George S. Halas Courage Award (for overcoming adversity to succeed), 1983 Walter Camp Man of the Year. Also, 1963 Maxwell Award and UPI Player of the Year. In 1999, “The Sporting News” placed him 29th on its list of “Football’s 100 Greatest Players” of the 20th century. In a 2010 “Dallas Morning News” poll, he was selected as the No. 1 Dallas Cowboy of all time. In 2018, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. PSA/DNA Pre-Certified. Winning Bid $125.
