Nick Saban Gem Mint 10 Autograph on a Michigan State T-Shirt with 2 More MSU Items.

Lot 263. Nick Saban Gem Mint 10 Autograph on a Michigan State T-Shirt with 2 More MSU Items. Among the top head coaches in college football history, Saban has led seven teams to national titles – LSU in 2003 and Alabama in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2020. He ranks among the top 15 college coaches in career victories, and his winning percentage is the best among Division 1 coaches. Saban’s green sharpie autograph stands out boldly on the white background of the green and white Michigan State T-shirt, which is mint. Accompanying Saban’s autograph is a 1.5” coin declaring the 1965 Spartan football team National Champions and a 3.5” color pin doing the same for the 1978-79 basketball team. The ex-m coin has the team’s regular-season 10-0 results on the back. Led by coach Duffy Daugherty, the team finished atop of the AP poll but fell to No. 2 after losing to UCLA in the 1966 Rose Bowl. Led by Magic Johnson, Greg Kelser and Jay Vincent, the 1978-79 basketball team won the NCAA Tournament to earn the Spartans’ their first national basketball championship. The pin is nm-m. PSA/DNA Pre-Certified. Minimum Bid $50.
