Lot 334. Impressive Pittsburgh Penguins Collection of 18 Figurines, Bobbleheads & Action Figures. Mario Lemieux (9 items), Jaromir Jagr (5), Sidney Crosby (1), and Evengi Malkin (1) are the players represented by 16 of these figures. All figures are mint in their original packages. Here is the complete list – Lemieux: Bobbleheads (3). Bobble Doubles made an 8.5” Heads Up bobblehead for issue by Pacific Trading Cards in 2002. The two others are for Penguins promotions, one for 2001-2, and the other, apparently in 2004 based on a game ticket with it. One is 7” tall, and the other, 7.75”. The 2004 box is p-f, and the two others are ex or better. McFarlane’s SportsPicks Series 2 is the source of a 6.5” Lemieux figurine in a 2001 nm-m package. Two Lemieux figures – one from 1993 and another from 1997 - are in packages that appear to be nm-m inside Starting Lineup plastic cases. Both packages provide information in English and French. Finally, Lemieux is in three Headliners, the 1996 regular edition, the 1996 White’s Guide “exclusive” edition and the 1997 issue. In each, he wears a different uniform. The regular 1996 version has a light crease on the front and nm-m back; 1996 White’s, two light creases on the front and a moderate back crease, and 1997, nm-m front and back with a price sticker on the front. Jagr: Like Lemieux, Jagr is featured in a McFarlane’s SportsPicks Series 2 figurine, this one from 2000. The package front is nm-m, and the back has the same appearance except for two light creases in one corner. With Patrick Roy of Colorado, Jagr is in a Starting Lineup Freeze Frame One-on-One display. The box has a price sticker and some indentations in the plastic. Jagr is also in Starting Lineup 1997 and 1998 editions. The packages are nm+. A 3” version of Jagr is from Headliners in 1997; the package has indentations in the plastic around the figure, a price sticker and several light back creases. Crosby: A 7.5” Forever Collectibles “Player Bobble,” 2005, in an ex box with indentations in the plastic. Malkin: A 7” bobblehead by Pro Sport Image from a Penguins promotion on Jan. 7, 2007 at Mellon Arena. Ex-m to nm box. Marc-Andre Fleury: A 7” Pro Sport Image bobblehead given to fans by the Penguins on Nov. 28, 2006. Ex box. In 13 seasons in Pittsburgh, Fleury helped the Penguins to win three Stanley Cup championships. He is the third NHL goaltender to record at least 500 victories. The two others are HoFers Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur. Patrick Lalime: 1977 Starting Lineup, nm-m package front, light back crease. Lalime is recognized for his creativity in designing goalie masks. Minimum Bid $100.
