Lot 332. Pucks Single-Signed by 4 Pittsburgh Penguins – Jágr, Apps, Aubin and Caron. Jaromír Jágr’s autograph is mint 9 on a 1990s hockey puck made by Trench; the puck is nm. Jágr starred for the Penguins 1990-2001. Generally regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time, he trails only Wayne Gretzky in points scored in the NHL. In 2017, he was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history. Syl Apps (Jr.) autographed an ex-m puck with the 1970s Penguins logo; his signature is mint 9. Apps played for the Penguins in eight (1970-78) of his 12 NHL seasons (1970-80). He was one of the team’s first stars, centered a line with Lowell MacDonald and Jean Pronovost, led the team in scoring three times and was selected for the 1975 All-Star Game. He tallied 99 points in the 1975-76 season. A third Penguins puck, this one nm+ and marking 2003 Opening Night, has the nm 7 autograph of Jean-Sebastien Aubin. He played parts of six seasons (1999-2004) for Pittsburgh as a goaltender. The autograph of another goalie, Sebastien Caron, is bold and mint 9 to gem mint 10 on an nm-m Penguins puck. He was with the Penguins from 2002-06. PSA/DNA Pre-Certified. Minimum Bid $50.
