Lot 324. Seagram’s Seven Crowns of Sports NY Rangers Cook-Boucher-Cook Hockey Mirror. Dubbed “The Bread Line,” right winger Bill Cook, center Frank Boucher and left winger Bun Cook constituted one of the most formidable lines in NHL history. All three are depicted in this nm-m mirror, approximately 13.75” x 16.75” and surrounded by an nm+ 17.75” x 20.5” wood frame. In 1928, the Bread Line enabled the New York Rangers to capture their first Stanley Cup by scoring all of the team’s goals in a five-game series against the Montreal Maroons. This trio helped the Rangers to another Stanley Cup victory in 1933. Bill Cook was the first captain of the Rangers and scored the franchise’s first goal. Bun Cook was his younger brother.
