Lot 357. 3 Sports Impressions Plates – Nolan Ryan, Ted Williams and Mark McGwire. The Ryan plate is 8 3/8” in diameter, and the two others, 4 1/8”. Titled “Farewell,” the 1993 Ryan plate features artwork by Robert Tanenbaum and is #9324 of 10,000. In 1987, Robert Stephen Simon created the Ted Williams plate, which is from “The Sports Superstar Collector Plate Series.” The McGwire plate, from the same series, presents artwork by Terrence Fogarty.
