Lot 354. 9 Starting Lineups - Bench, Fielder, Henderson, Jenkins, Lofton, Morgan, Piazza, Ripken, Yaz. All figures are mint in their original packaging. Two of the seven packages each have two players: 1999, “Freeze Frame One-on-One,” Kenny Lofton sliding into a base covered by Cal Ripken, Jr. The Lofton figure is 5.5” long, and the Ripken, 3.25” tall. The plastic packaging, shows some toning and includes a card with both Lofton and Ripken; the card appears to be mint. Joe Morgan and Johnny Bench 4.5” figures occupy the 1988 “Classic Doubles” package, which has price stickers and several small creases. Two cards, one of each player, are included; they appear to be nm-m to mint. Mike Piazza is represented by a nicely detailed 12” figure in Starting Lineup’s 1997 edition of “Fully Poseable” figures. Minor corner and edge wear on the box. Two 1997 6.5” “Stadium Stars” are in this collection, Ferguson Jenkins and Carl Yastrzemski. The Jenkins box has a side indentation and two price stickers. The Yastrzemski box has corner wear and a few edge scuffs. Rickey Henderson and Cecil Fielder, with 5.5” figures, are subjects of the 1992 “Headline Collection.” Henderson’s package includes an article from the “Oakland Tribune,” and Fielder’s, an article from the “Detroit News.” Both boxes are free of price stickers and show some shelf wear and creases, more on the Fielder box.
