In 2000, the Baseball Hall of Fame welcomed Anderson for his success as manager of the Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers. From 1970-95, he led the Reds to two World Championships, and the Tigers, to one. He was the first manager to win a World Series in both the NL and the AL. He was the AL Manager of the Year twice.
