Generally about 5.5” tall, these cards were offered to collectors by the American Tobacco Co. in the U.S. and J. Wix & Sons Ltd. in England. This collection includes a figure celebrating the United States (2), a Scottish bagpipe player, a Scottish dancer and figures representing Italy, China, Ireland, Greece and another country, possibly India. These place-cards are colorful and artistically pleasing. Each has a small vintage “Lucky Strike” logo on the front. One U.S. place-card has a name printed where it was supposed to go on the front, and the individual’s table number is on the back. These cards range from vg-ex to ex-m and average vg+ to ex.
