The 50 cards that make up the 1937 Player and Sons set have been neatly pasted into their original “An Album of Motor Cars.” Each card presents an artistic rendering of vintage motor car, which is then described in the album. The album is vg+ to ex and cards, as affixed, are ex to ex-m. 2. 1957 British Automatic Co. “Racing and Sports Cars” set of 24. Colorful artwork on the front depicts such racing cars as a Maserati 300S, a Ferrari, a D-Type Jaguar and a Ford Thunderbird. The backs are numbered and apparently were used to record a person’s weight. Ex-m. 3. 1976 Carreras “Black Cat” Modern Issues “Vintage Cars” set of 50. These cards feature color photos on the front and have information regarding the car on the back, nm-m. Including a Stutz, a Bugatti, a Lancia and a Bentley, these cars were produced sometime during 1919-31. Nm-m. 4. 1986 Rolls Royce Set of 25 Cards. These 2 ¼” x 3 ¼” color cards trace the development of the Rolls from 1904-72. The backs provide information on the cars. A very attractive auto set. Nm-m to mint.
