She performed with The Great Society, Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship and Starship. She was the lead singer on such hits as “White Rabbit,” which she wrote, “Somebody to Love,” “We Built This City” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” Her influence extended to such performers as Stevie Nicks and Patti Smith. In 1996, Slick was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Jefferson Starship. Three years later, VH1 ranked her 20th on its list of “100 Greatest Women of Rock and Roll.” Slick’s 370-page hardbound illustrated autobiography from 1998 is fine, or nm-m, in an ex dust jacket that shows surface wear.
