Lot 463. 23 Vintage Autographs - 22 by NFL Stars (14 by HoFers) and 1 by an ABA Star. Mack Calvin is the basketball player. After being a five-time All-Star in seven seasons in the American Basketball Association, he journeyed through the NBA for four more. His pencil autograph is mint 9 on an unlined index card. Most have tape on the card (c), and five (four by HoFers) have tape over part of the signature (s). Here are the Hall of Fame signers: Doug Atkins (died 2015, p, s), Chuck Bednarik (d. 2015, p, c), Raymond Berry (p), Len Dawson (s), Mike Ditka (c), Lou Groza (d. 2000, c), Sam Huff (c), John Henry Johnson (d. 2011, c), Ollie Matson (d. 2011, card trimmed, (p, c), Don Maynard, (s), Hugh McElhenny (c), Ernie Stautner (d. 2006, p, s), Yale Lary (d. 2017, c) and Steve Van Buren (d. 2012).
