Lot 458. 9 Color 11” x 14” Photos Signed by Football Stars – Jackie Smith, Houston, Dickey, Etc. The autographs are large and mint 9 or gem mint 10 unless otherwise noted. Jackie Smith, Hall of Fame (1994) tight end for the St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys, added his uniform No. “81” and “HOF 94.” Kenny Houston, Houston Oilers and Washington Redskins safety, added “Best Wishes” and “HOF 86.” Lynn Dickey, huge nm-m 8 autograph (because of the background); he played quarterback for the Oilers, was an All-Pro with the Packers in 1983 and is in the Packers’ and Kansas State Halls of Fame. John Gordy, Detroit Lions offensive guard selected for three Pro Bowls in 11 seasons; he added “#75, Det. Lions, World Champs ’57,’ Pro Bowl 64-66, All Pro 1964-67” and “Rom: 8:28.” Spike Jones, punter in eight seasons for the Bills or Eagles, added “Buffalo Bills 1971-74,” nm 7 to nm-m 8 signature, some letters against a dark background. George Kunz, offensive end with the Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Colts, eight-time Pro Bowl choice, three-time All-Pro, added “#75 Falcons & Colts.” Babe Parilli (died 2017), quarterback in the 1950s-60s for five NFL teams, including the Packers and Browns, as well as Canada’s Ottawa Rough Riders; he was a three-time American Football League All-Star, MVP of the 1966 AFL All-Star game, and is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. Willie Richardson (d. 2016), a wide receiver with the Colts and Dolphins, two-time Pro Bowl player and two-time All-Pro, and a member of the College Hall of Fame; added “Best Wishes” and “1/11/07.” And Ed Weisacosky (d. 2019), linebacker for the Giants, Dolphins and Patriots, 1967-72; he played college football for the Miami Hurricanes.
