Lot 140. 80 Baseball Cards with a Food Connection, 1961-88 – Post, Kellogg’s, Hostess, Drake’s, Etc. Hall of Fame players are on 24 of these cards, including one that is uncommon: Pete Rose is on a 1971 Kellogg’s heavy-paper card that has not undergone the process to turn it into a “3-D” card. The back is blank, and the card vg. Here is the complete list of 80 cards – POST CEREAL: 1961 #114, vg-ex. 1962 #85 vg+, 90 vg and 155 g. And 1962 #75 (miscut) p-f and 115 Wills g+ to vg. KELLOGG’S: 1970 #6 Howard vg-ex, 16 g, 22 Aparicio (2) vg+ to ex and vg; 23 vg+ to ex, 30 g+, 36 g+ and 48 Flood f-g. These 1970 cards generally have ex fronts and creases on the backs. 1970 All-Time Baseball Greats, #2 Hornsby (2) p-f and vg, 9 Wagner p and 14 Ruth g+. 1971 #9 ex-m+, 25 ex-m+, 27 vg, 45 nm, 65 Rose (see above) and 68 Stargell g+. 1972, #32 ex-m+, 40 Clemente vg and 51 ex-m+. 1974 #40 nm-m.
