Before serving as U.S. President from 1953-61, Eisenhower commanded Allied forces in Europe in World War II and served as president of Columbia University after the war. The earlier of the books is the softcover “Eisenhower’s Own Story of the War,” 1946, 122 well illustrated pages in an 8.5” x 11” format. Vg+ copy with soiling and a small area of paper loss on the front cover; ex pages. “Crusade in Europe” is a 1948 hardcover by Eisenhower. The illustrated book is vg+ to ex in a g dust jacket.
