The March 14, 1929 “Washington Herald” provides a 12-page “Post-Inaugural Section” on the inauguration of Herbert Hoover and his vice-president, Charles Curtis. Both officials are the subjects of large photos on the first page. Vg. Washington’s Jan. 20, 1949 “Evening Star” has three sections on the inauguration of Harry Truman. He is pictured on the front page of the complete paper. Vg-ex. Inside, the paper has a “Special Inaugural Gravure Section – The Truman Story in Pictures.” This six-page section is ex.
