Leather-Bound Signed Book: “100 Years of Presidential Elections 1864-1964.” Published by the Washington, D.C., “Evening and Sunday Star,” this book reproduces front pages of the newspaper presenting the results of Presidential elections. John Kaufmann, president of the newspaper, signed the 8.75’ x 11.12” book, which is nm with leather covers. Inside, there is some foxing on two parchment-like pages. Gold lettering on the cover identifies the book as belonging to Margaret Haywood, believe to be the late D.C. Superior Court senior judge and member of D.C. Council. Scarce and wonderful book!
