Lot 263. 8 Pittsburgh Pirates Publications – Yearbooks, Programs, Etc., 2 with Clemente. Two copies of the 20-page 1972 publication “Pittsburgh Baseball and Me” have Clemente on the cover. It commemorates his 3,000th major league hit at the close of the 1972 season. One copy is ex+, and the other, vg-ex. The Pirates’ yearbooks are from 1976, ex (0.75” spine split at the bottom) and 1982, vg-ex. The 1976 issue has Yosemite Sam on the cover done by Looney Tunes artist Bob Clampett. There are two programs, 1975 vs. Cincinnati, scored, vg, and 1990 vs. Montreal with Bonds, Bonilla and Van Slyke on the cover, vg+ to ex. Two copies of the Pirates’ official magazine are included, June 2001 and Spring 2004 (Spring Training issue), both nm-m. Also, a 2004 pocket schedule, and two ticket stubs for a March 17, 2004 game with the Phillies.
