Lot 155. 52 1960-62 Football Cards – Fleer and Topps, Jimmy Johnson’s Post Cereal Rookie, Etc. Roman Gabriel’s rookie is also in this group. Post Cereal is the source of two cards, 1962 #69 and 97, the rookie card of HoFer Jim Johnson (single print). The Johnson rookie is vg-ex. Johnson first appears in a Philadelphia set in 1964 and in a Topps set in 1968. The Fleer cards are 1960 #15 and 1961 #19. Most of the cards are from Topps – 1960: #8, 14, 17 Jones f-g, 19, 28, 33, 40, 44, 45, 47 (2), 49, 53, 56 Gregg vg-ex, 58, 66, 70, 83, 91, 99, 100, 106 (2), 110, 112 Cardinals team p, 120, 121 Nomellini g and 128. 1961: #7 Marchetti vg, 10, 11, 25, 49, 79 McElhenny vg+, 85 Conerly vg and 111. 1962: Among the 1962 cards are 10 single prints. #5 Berry (2) (single print) both vg+ to ex, 58 Karras vg+ to ex, 68 Ringo (SP) vg+ to ex, 75 Packers team (SP) ex, 88 Gabriel rookie (SP) ex, 89 Rams team (2) (SP) both vg-ex, 92 McElhenny (SP) ex and 101 Vikings team (3) (SP) two ex and 1 vg. Cards not graded above generally range from g to vg with some better.
