This collection includes an almost-complete run of fan All-Star ballots from 1973-2010; missing 1983, 1984, 1986, 1998, 1999 and 2006-09. Unpunched and nm to nm-m. The bobble heads are of Alex Rodriguez and Oliver Perez. The Bobble Doubles figure of Rodriguez as a Texas Ranger is mint in the original box. The boxless Perez bobble is ex-m. The jerseys are size medium store models for the Expos (vg-ex), which concluded business in Montreal in 2004, and the Astros (nm). Publications are the April 30, 1980 issue of “Inside Sports” with Nolan Ryan on the cover, nm-m; the Feb. 23, 2000 “Sporting News” with Ken Griffey, Jr., on the cover, nm-m; the 1952 “Rawlings Official Baseball Rules,” nm; and “The AllStar Legend,” 1977, nm. Also: A 1994 Cincinnati Reds plastic cup from Coke commemorating the first televised baseball game (in 1939), nm; three “USA Today” full pages with Johnny Bench promoting the All-Star Game (1990 and 1991), pages folded twice; a rolled poster from the 1994 All-Star Game that reproduces All-Star program covers, 1933-93; and a 1988 “Reggie Jackson: ‘Mr. October’” VHS.
