Lot 267. Pittsburgh Pirates Mascot Pins, Patches, a Matchbox Car and Other Memorabilia. Four pins are each 7/8” in diameter. One is a 1960s issue from Guy’s Potato Chips, ex. Two with crossed bats feature the Pirates’ 1950s mascot. One says “Pittsburgh Pirates” in red, nm, and the other simply says “Pirates” in yellow, vg-ex. The fourth has Pittsburgh’s mid-1960s-80s mascot, vg+. This mascot is also on a 7.75” x 11.5” cardboard sign, nm, and on two 2.5” x 3” patches. Also included are a 1993 Pirates’ logo Matchbox car, mint in the original box; a 1.75” logo patch, ex-m; a 3” x 4.5” transfer with an uncommon mascot, vg; and a Fleer cloth sticker, ex. Eleven items.
