Lot 619.  John Henry Johnson Autograph on Football Hall of Fame Artwork. Johnson’s signature is nm 7 on a 5.5” x 8.5” copy of a drawing that shows him carrying the football. Johnson played for San Francisco, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Houston. When he retired, only Jim Brown, Jim Taylor and Joe Perry had gained more rushing yards. Selected for the Pro Bowl four times, three with Pittsburgh. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1987. He died in 2011.

Lot 620.  14 Pittsburgh Steelers Autographs Including Mel Blount on a Wilson Rozelle Football. The signatures are on the three white panels of this nm-m football: Mark Malone and Eric Williams; Keith Gary, John Rodgers, Robin Cole, Mel Blount, David Little, Keith Willis, Dwayne Woodruff, Cliff Stoudt and Craig Wolfley; and Bennie Cunningham Jr., Ron Johnson and one other. The signatures are nm-m 7 and better. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 621.  Heath Miller and Larry Foote Signed Wilson Paul Tagliabue Football. Miller and Foote each placed an nm-m 8 to mint 9 autograph on a white panel of this nm-m football, which has small black mark above Miller’s signature. In eight seasons with the Steelers, Miller has been a reliable receiver and one of the NFL’s best-blocking tight ends. Only six Steelers and one tight end (Elbie Nickel) have gained more yards by catching a football than Miller. Foote has been a fan favorite.

Lot 622.  Josh Miller 2001 Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp Practice Jersey. Miller’s No. 4 is in black on the front and back of this gold Reebok size 48 jersey. Inside below the collar, a cloth “01-48” tag identifies the jersey as a product of the 2001 season. Except for a tear on the right sleeve, the jersey is nm. Miller punted for the Steelers from 1996-2003. He lives in Pittsburgh now and is a sports analyst for one of the city’s radio stations.

Lot 623.  Kordell Stewart 1997 Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp Practice Jersey. Our consignor obtained this jersey at the Steelers’ “Sideline Store,” which sometimes makes game or practice equipment available to fans. This Nike Pro Line size 52-long jersey has a cloth “97” tag in the tail. Stewart’s No. 10 is on the front and back in white on the black jersey. Ex-m. The Steelers’ starter at quarterback from 1997-2001, Stewart made the Pro Bowl and was the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2001. The NFL Network ranked him as the sixth most versatile player in NFL history.

Lot 624.  Jeff Hartings 2006 Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp Practice Jersey. Playing center for the Steelers from 2001 through 2006, Hartings was a two-time Pro Bowler who helped the team to win Super Bowl XL. The size 48 Reebok On Field white jersey with Hartings’ No. 64 in black has an “06-48” cloth tag inside below the collar. The sleeves have been cut shorter than the originally were; otherwise, the jersey is ex-m. Our consignor purchased it from the Steelers’ “Sideline Store,” which occasionally makes game equipment available.

Lot 625.  Oct. 5, 1970 Issue of “Newsweek” with Terry Bradshaw on the Cover. The issue is vg-ex with a label and, for no apparent reason, a 5/16” piece of tape at the top of the front cover. Inside is a three-page Pete Axthelm article on Bradshaw titled “The Trials of a Rookie.” Eventually this rookie helped the Pittsburgh Steelers to win four Super Bowls and twice was the championship game’s MVP. The cover would look great with Bradshaw’s autographs across his forearm.

Lot 626.  Late 1970s Die-Cut Figures of Rocky Bleier, Joe Greene and Lynn Swann. These three players helped the Pittsburgh Steelers to win Super Bowls IX, X, XIII and XIV. Made of heavy, thick paper about 1/8” thick, each die-cut is about 9” tall and fits into 2.5” x 4” wood base that has the player’s name, height, weight, team and position. Ex.

Lot 627.  800+ 1970s-90s Cards of Pittsburgh Steelers. These cards are concentrated in the 1990s with some from the 1980s and much fewer from the 1970s. Among the stars are Joe Greene (2 cards), L. C. Greenwood (2), Dwight White (7), Rocky Bleier, John Stallworth (10), Mel Blount (3), Jack Ham (4), Ray Mansfield (3), Lynn Swan, Terry Bradshaw (5), Mike Webster (6), Chuck Noll (2), Jack Lambert (8), Franco Harris (15), Art Rooney (2), Dermontti Dawson (12) and Rod Woodson (60). There also are cards of Matt Bahr, Steve Furness, Benny Cunningham, Neil O’Donnell, Eric Green, John Kolb, Donnie Shell, David Little, Louis Lipps, Gary Anderson, Ron Johnson, Bubby Brister, Merril Hoge, Greg Lloyd, Barry Foster, Ernie Mills, Frank Pollard, Carnell Lake, Tunch Ilkin, Yancey Thigpen, Joel Steed, Greg Hawthorne, Sidney Thornton, Robin Cole, Randy Grossman, Mike Wagner, Gerry Mullins, Hardy Nickerson, Larry Brown, Walter Abercrombie, Bryan Hinkle, Roy Gerela, John Fuqua, Roy Jefferson, Bobby Walden, J. T. Thomas and others. These cards average nm.
