Horne’s signature is nm-m 8 to mint 9 on and 8” x 10” b&w photo; Fisher’s, nm-m 8 on an 8” x 10” color photo; Avalon’s, ex-m 6 to nm 7 on an 8” x 10” b&w photo, and Jarrett’s, gem mint 10 on a 6.5” x 9” sepia photo. Horne (died 2010) was a talented theater and film actress, singer and dancer. A singer and actor, Avalon starred in Disney “beach party” movies in the 1960s and had five top 10 single records from 1958-60. The most successful pop singles artist in the first half of the 1950s, Fisher (d. 2010) is remembered for marrying Liz Taylor, Debbie Reynolds and Connie Stevens. Jarrett (d. 1987) was a singer, actor and bandleader whose greatest success came in the 1930s and 1940s. His hits included “Did You Ever See a Dream Walking” and “Let’s Fall in Love.” These autographs come with a Letter of Authenticity from Collectible Classics. We received them from a reliable consignor, and we believe them to be authentic. The winning bidder will have 40 days from the close of the auction to have them checked by a reliable third party.
