Lot 522. George Will Autographed Copy of His Baseball Book “Men at Work.” Recognized primarily for his political commentary, Will is one of baseball’s premier fans. In this 1990 first edition, he covers elements of baseball by examining four of the game’s best performers – Tony La Russa as manager, Orel Hershiser as pitcher, Tony Gwynn as batter and Cal Ripken, Jr., as representative of the defense. Will’s autograph, which is personalized, is large and bold, gem mint 10, on the title page. It comes with a note from Will’s assistant, who wrote to the person who obtained the autograph, “When I put your book in front of Mr. Will’s nose, he looked at the binding and said, ‘Wow!
