Lot 687. Pittsburgh Pirates Ticket Stubs for a July 4, 1921 Doubleheader. Pittsburgh split the two games with St. Louis, winning the first, 5-2, and dropping the second, 6-3. Rogers Hornsby had six hits in the two games, including a two doubles and two triples. He batted .397 for the season. The stubs, one marked “AM” and the other, “PM,” are rain checks neatly separated from the remainder of the ticket. The ticket for the first game is g+ to vg, and the second, vg+.
