Bilko batted .360, slugged 55 home runs and drove in 164 runs. For the second straight season, he was the league’s MVP. The 40-page yearbook pictures other once or future major leaguers – Jim Bolger, Gene Mauch, George Freese, John Goryl and Harry Perkowski. Vg+, 1” spine splits at the top and bottom.
