With stars such as Pie Traynor, Max Carey, Kiki Cuyler, Lee Meadows, Ray Kremer and Vic Aldridge, the Pirates won the National League title by 8.5 games and then defeated the Washington Senators in seven games in the World Series. The pennant’s graphics include a batter inside a large baseball with “Champions” in white above and “1925” below. “Pittsburgh” is in gold on a black field. Free of tack holes, the pennant has a slightly rounded tip and shows minor cracking in the graphics. Ex to ex-m. For display or cheering the Pirates on, it is attached to a colorful 26.75” stick that is topped off with a smiling face. This pennant is rarely seen.
