Lot 215. 10 Cincinnati Reds Yearbooks, 1947-59. The 1947 yearbook, which has Bucky Walters and Ewell Blackwell on the cover, is rare. Nice vg+ to ex copy with rookie Ted Kluszewski among the players pictured. The Reds chose catcher Ray Lamanno for the cover of the 1949 edition; vg-ex. The Reds did not publish a 1950 edition. The 1951 cover marks the 75th anniversary of the National League; vg-ex. Crosley Field is on the cover of the 1952 issue, nm+. The other issues have the Reds’ (or Red Stockings or Redlegs) baseball mascot on the cover: 1953, nm; 1954, vg-ex; 1955, Kluszewski portrait on the back cover, ex; 1956, revised edition, Frank Robinson debut, ex; 1958, vg-ex, and 1959, opening game edition, ex to ex-m.
