The ticket stubs are accompanied by an 11” x 25.5” (when opened) brochure depicting the three ball parks that served as home to the Pirates – Exhibition Park, Forbes Field and Three Rivers Stadium. Ex+. The brochure has also a photo of the 1970 Pirates. In their final appearance at Forbes Field, the Pirates defeated the Chicago Cubs twice. A June 28 rain check with two punch holes commemorates these games. Somewhat faded, the stub is free of creases. A two-part 2 ½” x 6 7/8” stub is present for the Pirates’ first game at Three Rivers Stadium on June 29. They lost to the New York Mets. Vg+ to ex.
