Lot 182. 2 1908 PC798-14 H M Rose Crossed Bats and Ball Comic Postcards. The fronts of these embossed cards contain a verse and “WH” within a circle. A card with a well dressed man and woman begins “Money to spare he never has.” Vg-ex. The other, with a large man in a suit, opens with “Hurrah! Hurrah! He’s filled with joy. Forgets about his gout.” G. Each card has a postage and postmark stamp on the back along with a written message.
