Lot 62. 1965 Philadelphia Phillies Ceramic Tile Featuring Hall of Fame Pitcher Jim Bunning. This 6” x 6” tile is the key to a set of 12 tiles that apparently were produced by H & R Johnson of England. The graphics, including the player’s image and facsimile signature, were added in the U.S. A light layer of cork on the back of the tile is largely worn away and does not affect the overall appearance of the tile. There is light wear on the two upper corners and a very tiny chip along the right edge. Ex to ex-m and unusual.
