Lot 20. Ramones Autographed Poster – Joey, Johnny, CJ and Marky. Mint 9 to gem mint 10 signatures on a 23” x 29” poster with images of the four members of the seminal punk rock band. Formed in 1974, the group was the most influential among the early punk rockers. Although not related, members of the group created pseudonyms with the last name “Ramone.” After touring extensively for 22 years, the Ramones played a farewell concert and then disbanded. Since then, they have received numerous honors, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Two Ramones who signed the poster, lead singer Joey (Jeffry Hyman, died 2001) and guitarist Johnny (John Cummings, d. 2004) are deceased. Guitarist CJ is Christopher Ward, and drummer Marky is Marc Steven Bell. As issued, the poster has a vertical and horizontal fold. Otherwise, it is ex-m. Kevin Keating authenticated the autograph.
