Lot 184. Burt Shotton (Dodgers Manager) Autographed 8” x 10” B&W Photo. Shotton was Jackie Robinson’s first regular manager in the majors. Shown outside the Dodgers’ Club House, he led the Bums to N.L. pennants in 1947 and 1949. He also managed the Phils and played for the Browns, Senators and Cardinals. His signature, as “B E Shotton,” is nm 7 to nm-m 8, large and personalized. Shotton died in 1962. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
