Lot 180. Stan Musial Autographed May 1, 1954 “Saturday Evening Post.” Mint 9 Musial signature on a John Falter illustration. Falter produced more than 120 “Post” covers from 1943-68. Generally regarded as one of the top 10 baseball players of all-time, Musial entered the Hall of Fame in 1969, his first year of eligibility, with support from more than 93% of the voters. Like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, Musial writes right-handed even though he throws and bats left. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
