Lot 372. OAL Baseball Signed by 22 1968 World Champion Detroit Tigers – Kaline, Mathews, Etc. These Tigers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series, 4 games to 3. They autographed an OAL Bobby Brown ball at a reunion. Al Kaline is on the sweet spot; Willie Horton, Jon Warden, Wayne Comer, Daryl Patterson, Gates Brown and Eddie Mathews are on the north panel; Norm Cash, Don Wert, John Sain, John Hiller and Earl Wilson on the south; Pat Dobson, Dick Tracewski, Jim Price, Jim Northrup and Dick McAuliffe on the east, and Hal Naragon, Mickey Stanley, Fred Lasher, Tom Matchik and Mickey Lolich on the west. A couple of signatures are nm-m 8; the others are mint 9 to gem mint 10. The ball is white with fully intact pre-printed areas; each side panel has a small area of discoloration.
