Lot 309. Ron Turcotte (HoF) Signed Secretariat Photos (3) from the Derby, Preakness and Belmont. In 1973, Turcotte rode Secretariat, the greatest of the thoroughbreds, to Triple Crown victories in the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes. Color 8” x 10” photos show Turcotte and Secretariat driving toward the finish line in the Preakness and the Belmont. In the third photo, Turcotte sits astride Secretariat after winning the Derby. Nm photos, each with a gem mint signature. Turcotte was left a paraplegic in 1978 in a fall from a horse at the beginning of a race at Belmont Park. The following year, he was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. Autographs authenticated by Kevin Keating.
