Lot 349. 10 Photos Autographed by 1950s Brooklyn Dodgers – Reese, Snider, Bessent, Etc. Unless otherwise noted, the signatures are on 8” x 10” color photos. Bessent, who helped the Dodgers win their only World Championship, is a relatively scarce autograph. He went 8-1 in 1955 with a 2.70 ERA and pitched 3.1 scoreless innings in the World Series. He passed away in 1990. Besides Bessent, five other signers were members of the 1955 World Championship team: Clem Labine, Don Newcombe, Johnny Podres, Pee Wee Reese and Duke Snider. The other signers are Gino Cimoli, Al Gionfriddo, Rocky Nelson, all on b&w photos, and Andy Pafko. The autographs are 10s. Gionfriddo, Labine, Nelson, Podres and Reese are also deceased.
